ya know,im not a big fan of fire types but i got to catch tha dog ENTEI so i can catch Ho-oH and..............WHERE ON EARTH IS HE!!!

look on your pokedex and if you have met him in battle then his area should be on his description. go to a route either 1 above or below his route and you should meet him. so if he is on route 20 when you look, go to route 21 or 19 to find him.

Yeah u can find him randomly in the grass just keep searching for him and u will find him

and yeah use the pokedex if u battle him before and find him

All the legendary "dogs" (Entei, Raiku) excluding Suicune since it battles you on its own are in random places in Johto they can be anywhere, but if you've seen one of them already you can locate them with your Pokedex.
