like it says battle mew and i press it then i start the game, but nothing happens

when using the pokemon encounter codes such as mew, you need to walk around in the grass once they are activated, and you'll find the pokemon you wanted just like a wild pokemon. Also, mew doesn't obey if caught by cheating.
