I like water Lances, plus they have great defending (not water ones, just lances). I have Black Belt Lance, too bothered to upgrade it 'cause I'll waste my Gold Rathian stuff

Stroke your pig before going on the quest (as Ladster says, it gives you better/ rarer carvings). If not...ummm...just keep trying =\ I dunno what else to say, I got it straight away from her tail. You sure this is the one in HR5?

yep... i still didnt get it... im just unlucky. there has to be another way!

Carve right in the middle of her tail. And carve her back, sometimes it depends on your position. I know how you feel, I had ths same prob for Azure Rathalos armour, I had to kill him 5 times before they gave me one more shell
