i find Kenji not too difficult on the canyon but i can answer the question, Kenji obviously dosent show his bestest skillz on the canyon as he tends to brake at the last minute which is definately not a good move to do because u have the chance to catch up easily by braking earlier and earning urself an opportunity to turn with ease..so the advantage for u to do is not to keep an eye on his car and make a lot of errors, but just ignore him and focus on ur own tracks, therefore u'll tend to focus more and rarely do any mistakes.

as alpucino said, he brakes at the last minute and you can exploit his weakness by keeping a good line around the corners he is clearly unfamiliar with the route and tends to over brake and brake to late. most people fall off following his route so race it a few times and find your route and over take him on a corner
