I personaly dont like beam rifles normal marines sniper rifles are way better.
And mudcrab is right sneak up behind them and hit the orange part for a one shot kill or get a rocket launcher and just fire away

this trick is effective but old and the Pistol trick is the best trick just wait until they try to melee you then just jump behind them and shoot them in any orange spot..
