i would choose mew, because i could never play as mew, so i would just want to see what it can do, but you're probably looking for something other than legendary. therefore, i will have to pick chansey, because they have so much health, and when you catch them in the wild, they have hardly any attack at all. even though it's a normal type, i think it has a lot of potential!

i think a torchic. even though its weak at the beginning...(well.. not really.. just small...) it evolves into blaziken.. which is REALLY strong!
Yea torchic is good, especially against the first gym if you train it to level 16 and evolve it it learns Double Kick.
yeah... i wanted to start with torchic... but i ended up chosing sceptile's lower evolution...cant believe i dont know the name... not complainind with sceptile... but i would like it more with torchic
