I'm on my second playthrough on this game and I found out something that might help out people. As you know (from what I have been told) you can only carry one bottle of Fairy Tears. This is not true if you follow my directions. When you get the bottle of fairy tears from the golden man for killling 20 poe's, don't use it, instead keep it safe until you can fully beat the dungeon to unlock fairies at the fountains (sorry, can't remember the name of it but you know what i'm talking about). Make sure that before you beat it, you have an empty bottle, when you talk to the Great Fairy she will bestow upon you a bottle of Fairy Tears. Now you have 2 bottles of Fairy Tears taht willcome in handy against Ganadrof.

you don't have to do that just go to the dessert right by the cave of ordeals there are thee skulls turn into the dog and dig in the middle once your in there there are a few chu jellies...and one of them is a special gold jelly which has the same effect as the fairy tears
