Where are the guns?

I've played this game lots, I've won it lots yet I'm still awaiting to see guns, cannons or America! When do these things happen?

in 85 turns the cannons and guns will be invented. if you want to travel to America press (~)then type --> create_unit "Admiral Nigel" "carrack" 2933
you need to have Carrack so you can travel there.

Okay I can't get the create unit cheat to work, I put it in just as you have typed it but it state unknown unit or settlement.

what units are you trying to create because mine doesn't let me create naval units but i can help with armies

The one above inorder to discover America but if Navy units don't work with your its seems mine is the same.

Hi guys. To sail to the new world you have to have carracks in your fleet and nothing else or it won't work. This is how I did it for the English.

1. Start a campaign as the English (or any faction that can use carracks)
2. I had an admiral called "Admiral Nigel" so I gave him a fleet of carracks like this…

create_unit “Admiral Nigel” “carrack” 1 9 3 3

3. Repeat the above until you are happy with the size of the fleet.
4. Get rid of all the ships in admiral Nigel’s fleet that are not carracks or it won't work.

Load up your fleet with an army and sail west until you hit the new world. If you use infinite movement you can do it all in one turn.
