Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars Message Board

Just thought i'd let you know firstly that this site is fantastic.

On C&C3, I have just downloaded a patch, and now when I change setting for grpahics etc, it says version 1.02. I'm guessing that this is version 1.2 lol.

No, as you can guess, i'm not much good with computers and I need a bit of help. I have d/l Mega Trainer 1.2, to try and have a bit more fun with C&C. However, it does not work at all.

I have installed it, extracted it and then I click on the .exe, and a black box with white writing comes up telling me what keys to press. I leave that running, and then start the game, however nothing at all happens.

I have read the troubleshooter, and changed the hotkeys, and it also says I don't have to install it anywhere specific. So i'm really stuck.

Any ideas??

Are you hearing a voice that says "option activated" when you press the hotkeys during the game? Are you running XP or Vista? Are you sure you have 1.02? As the updater is sending out 1.3 right now and the trainer will not work with that version as is.

I'm running windows XP.

I dont hear any voice when I hit the hotkeys.

I'm sure its version 1.02, as I downloaded the patch today.

All I do when i extract it is click on the icon, and then a small screen comes up. Is that all I should do?

i dont find the trainer got any problem, its work for me. try to chk ur game version at option in game. dont update it in game, try manual update the v1.02 patch.

If you're not hearing the voice, then you're not running it properly or you have something blocking the F keys. F-lock key maybe? Some program? Check the guide.
