Anyone here interested in putting on your thinking cap and help me come up with a procedure to give the first trader we meet in the game some of the hard hitting weapon and vest right off the bat??? g35, an11, dragonov svd etc
Its possible, some russian modder did it but too stingy to share the steps.
Here is what i figure out so far dbex_rel_1.rar is a extractor that can extract db file located in D:\Program Files\THQ\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl
I extracted these file into gamedata folder i created in D:\Program Files\THQ\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl/gatedata
In these folder, are itx text file that can be modded, and names we need for the mod such as fn_2000. This mod process is simular to warhammer dawn of war.
This is what i have so far, I am sure there are people who can contribute more info about modding these itx file, so that the first trader we meet can carry assault rifles armor artifact right off the get go. good luck.
You then edit trader.trade.itx and then add all the item you want to the list svd, exo skeleton, skoken rpg scope and ammo for all and use inf ru trainer to buy and inf weight to carry. i have 15 weapon 9 suit ammo for all gun and attachments fully loaded for the first mission thats what i'm talking about.
oh, don't forget to get the never have to eat artifact
