I'm hoping someone can help a lame-o like me open the SH3 Cfg files. I've accessed my program files through the start menu, located and opened the Cfg file. However, I'm unable to open the Cfg files I would like to edit. What program type can I open the Cfg with?

If you`ve read the other post you`d known...
Open cfg files with notepad or for easier editing visit:
    www.delraydepot.com/tt/sh3sdk.htm
and download minitweaker + tweak files and sh3 inspector.
    EASY to use!

Also visit subsim.com and download some great mods

Thanks for the information. I thought I had covered all of the posts for it, but I guess I missed the one you referred to. I have checked subsim.com and can't wait to download some of the mods.

One more stupid question. I have saved some to the files from subsim.com but where should I save them? Do I save them under the sh3 program files or my documents? If I should save them in the sh3 program files, how do I accomplish this?

depends on witch files you mean. If you mean .cfg .tga etc, you must overwrite the old files, but if it`s gwx, commander etc, it dosen`t matter.
