theres a boss in the forest of sommit or other its a fire boss its a bomb with loads of other bombs around it anyone know any tips for beating it as it seems to reform everytime your about to kill it and roughly wat level should the average character be

I managed to beat it at around level 32, you just need to do a largish quickening chain when it has around 25% HP left.

A fire shield cuts the fire attacks in half.

this was one of the most frustrating bosses for me, but with persistance and strategy he will eventually go down. Try to take out the little bombs as he summons them. After a while you will get a good chain level and the things they drop can replenish hp. if you have bubble or a bubble belt, use it. once the king bomb gets down to 20% or less hp, quickly use any ethers to get your mp back up and do as long of a quickening chain as you possibly can. If that doesn't finish him off he will regenerate and you have to start from the begining.

i just fought this guy today and all my guys r 28-31 and i beat him fine with the Mateus esper at the start then quickening chains after wards, each lil bomb guy thats around him gives u like 478 exp i think? but yea he was frusterating thats for sure

It took awhile to kill, but I didn't find it hard, at any point.

you don't have to kill this boss at this point you can leave it and come back later with a better level to kill it

I have killed it with quickenings. Try that only quickenings just have enough Ethers.My levels where 25 Vaan,21 Basch,21 Baltier,18 the priinces (can't remmember the name),21 Penelo,20 Fran. Was easy.
