Tested this on v1.00 with near 1.05 results. Took a few times of getting shot, but eventually I was downed by enemy infantry fire. Going to go up versions to see if it gives infinite health on any between 1.00 and 1.05.
i've downloaded the package from the link offered by KluZz, and replaced the original file within the \ArmA\Campaigns directory. But when i start game and load my saved game, i still got killed at the first sight of an enemy rifleman by just one bullet....
am i doing wrong or there is something else should be done?
It is hit and miss, with the "Super Health". Normally a single bullet won't kill you, unless it is under rapid consession. Normally a tank, or machine gun will kill you as normal, but a normal shot won't. Also, you can fall from great heights, without being killed. The script that I wrote for the missions, worked in Operation Flashpoint, and worked for me perfectly in AA, until 1.05 patch. Now it bullets, seem to kill more often. That is why I called it "Super Health" and not invinciblity. I am not a programmer. I just a novice, who did a lot of research and playing around with OFP and AA. Once the next patch is released, I will attempt to re-do another script, I am working on, at the moment, which I am currently testing, but have to wait until new patch. Because there was a problem with 1.05 patch that changed the damage model values, and all shots are placed in chest, and not on limbs or heads. That is also why in 1.05, you can no longer shoot the ememy in the face, while they are standing up.
Eh, don't mind. I mainly got this because I want to mess around in each of the maps, and it works for that as long as I don't rush a tank head-on. That and the idea of finishing missions inhibited by the "fear" of my character's "mortality" is one I enjoy. Makes the game more fun. All in all, thinking a command to save the game whenever like in OpFlash would prove infinitely more useful than an invincible character. Still, thanks for letting me explore the maps w/o being dropped by the first bullet coming from a guy I had yet to see. Really annoying, that.
Yeah, I'm stupid. Just scrolled down in the difficulty settings and saw the option for unlimited saves. Also, after downgrading from patch v1.05, I noticed a reasonable jump in frame rate. Used to only get 15-20fps but on v1.00 and v1.02 I was getting high 30s-low 50s on the same settings.
