After you trap something in a soul gem how do you use it?

you can use it to recharge an enchanted item or to enchant an item. you best bet(if you want to enchant an item) would be to take it to an enchanter, which can be found at any mages guild

Oh ok i though you could use them when your fighting someone. But that works too thanks.
