I dont know if any one knows about this, but here goes.

On relic and Turf (Two maps from the multiplayer map pack)
there are large human shields.

What you need to do:
1. Creat a variant, where everyone has an active overshield
2. make your primary weapon rochet launcher
3. secondary weapon energy sword
4. play on Turf or relic

on relic, the shields are over by the pelican dropship. doing the superjump, although it is very hard, it is possible to get clear to the top of the giant tower.
Use your energy sword to get it up to the highest and closest you can possible get to the tower. Now stand on the very end of the support beam (the thing that looks like a T)and use your rocket launcher to shoot at the very top of the shield. If done correctly you should be flung to an extreme height, and if you are lucky enough you can land on the top.

on turf, the shields are plain in sight, I have not fully tested this superjump but you will, if angled correctly, have the chance at a limited rooftop vacation (like on outskirts)there is a catch however, you can only travel on the edges of the roofs because of an invisible wall. A really neat feature is that when you get to a certain height, you can see the entire map, and clear past the ends of the map!

another good use for this is jump is getting out of sticky situations.

say your playing team slayer,you have a RL in your hand and a shield right next to you, and three enemies are coming from three different directions, they are coming towards you with energy swords. you can risk staying there and being killed or you can take the superjump way and give them a nasty suprise on the way back down!

any way you do it, its useful.REMEMBER OVERSHIELDS!

there are easier superjumps to get to those places, just google video super bounce

You could also use a Banshee...just flip it over, stand on the tip and shoot at the other tip.

yea but there are no banshees on turf or relic. I forgot, you can also do the shield jump with a brute shot too.

I've never tried it, but can't you just turn the Banshee on?
