um.....people want their games to look better and better, you need to constantly update your components it's how it's always been.....

Well, my hw is 7600pro , 2.5ghz, 1.3gb ddr400... STILL it's kinda slow sometimes.
This is due to the enormous ammount of units present on the map (the graphic settings for map, details etc does not affect it much). The reason: programming of SC is set for buildings to be considered as 'units' as well, taking up loads of processing and animation.. I mean wtf, it's just buildings not doing too much.. make it static... blarg

You...may want to work on your English before posting. No offense meant, as I'm assuming that German is your first language, but it's not generally considered respectable to spell "Supreme Commander" as "supremm comadnder".

just in case for those using dual screen, as you know the game uses the second screen as a HUGE map, this is cool and helpful, but since it tracks movement, it will slow your game down once more units are on the field, so if you have two screen this is the first thing to do to get better speeds. I run it on 1650X1050 on high settings in one screen and I have no more slowdown issues

I hate how they've developed it so buildings are units.....means if I have a full pop cap of tanks and -4k power I can't build more generators....GREAT IDEA!! Hopefully a mod will rectify this.
