Ok then the must be unisexual. That is the only way to explain it unless you want to pull the old "it's not real, they can do what they want" you know. Then wait why are Fran and Balthier partners if there is only one gender? Makes you wonder doesn't it.

I figured they were in some way asexual or reproduce some way through the wood. I also figured that by Fran and Balthier being partners that meant more of friends and business type partners than lovers. But either way, you do bring up a pretty good point.

Maybe they have two types of reproductive organs, one like a humans and one with pre-fertilised eggs. They might have the males locked in a dungeon for when they need to breed.
Fran and Balthier are a bit too close to be "just friends" don't you think?

if u watch the final credits the hugging kinda-sorta :\ well they have the hotts for each other ok? besides i like the handshake after you beat vayne for like the 20th time lol
