i have only just started this game and i hav got a skyline gts and i cant win the 'FR' races with the amount of power it currenty has (220 bhp) i was wondering wat would be a better thing to do -
    1. spend money on increasing power and reducing weight etc
    2. buy another car e.g second hand impreza, modify it a bit and enter differant races and modify my skyline with the prize money ???

definitley the second option. the impreza has around 260hp when you buy it but it is 4wd. I recommend a used rx-7 (250-260hp depending on the model) and tune it up. You can also do the RE cup in mazda to get a cool unlock which sells for a lot of coin.

the latest one is called the RX-8; its available in the new cars section of mazda. There are two generations of RX-7s - the FC and the FD. The FC is available from the 1980s and early 1990's showrooms. The FD is available from early 1990s and late 1990s showrooms. If you wanna win easier, the FD is the way to go. It is slightly expensive (around 15-30k) but its defo worth it. The FC is fairly cheap (around 5-10k) and to an extent it is as capable as an FD. But only to an extent.

Personally, i wud buy the FC. Its more fun to drive, the races are a real blast with it and it is one of the best drifters in the game . But if you wanna win, take the FD. Its better on the track than the FC.

Thats the RX-7 FC model. Its in the 1980s used cars showroom and the early 1990s showroom. I reccomend the one in the 1990s showroom.
