i love playing DS2 and playing it in the Local Area Network with my dad and brother in the same house at the same time would RULE! We each have our own pc. we'v played lineage 2 chronicle 5 together online before but we cant do the same with DS2 so im gonna wire up the house and link us up.
how fast a network must i get so the game runs ok,
do i need aditional networking software to establish a good connection? and, my dad uses a laptop. will that have an effect on a LAN game of DS2?
please tell me because i dont wanna take any chances with this.

I have been playing on my LAN for several years, DS, DSLOA, and DS2,, no additional software was needed, and I have used 100 meg NIC with out problems, also have used 1000 meg NIC. The only time I have had a problem is trying to use wireless cards. I have never tried more that 2 players but there shouldnt be any problems.
