cheating takes all the damn fun out of the game.

maybe not certain moding but using mods to become invincible is just boring

Most mods don't do that. There are some mods which change the body models to look much better, some that add new quest lines (such as Twin Lamps), some that add enormous dungeons (I downloaded one that stretched the entire span of Morrowind from one end to the other, but I never got round to playing it), and some that just add cool new clothes.

yeah i know, those mods can be fun...i just dont use them.

and using console cheats takes all the fun out, like he said he had trueflame before he finished the tribunal quest...how can that be any fun?

i hate cheats just makes the game too easy and you wouldent be playing the game

anyway .. trueflame sucks ... I got a great mace ... something with stone-singer .. got it (i think) when i defeated that monster and got to that tomb .. at thirsk ...

Soul gems can be found in crates around most dungeons and bandit caves, and around level 20 grand soul gems will be added to the loot lists. Also, if you have Tribunal, I think there's a shopkeeper who restocks gems you can buy.
