How to get the cheats to work

Hi guys. i have finished the gme but i was wanting to play it now with the cheats but i cat seem to get them working. i have read that i need to read the Dark.NFO file but i cant find it anywere. please some one help. i have tried putting the file in all the folders but i cant seem to get them to work. Any help would be great thanks
