"Blown Engine?" on Need for Speed: Most Wanted XBox Message Board - Page 1

K I keep beating Baron, Blacklist 10 in the first sprint and then it goes to the drag race and every damn time, before I even get going, it says 'Blown Engine!' and I automatically lose.

How the hell do I make it so it won't blow my engine? I read somewhere that if you go slower [90-100 MPH] half the time in the sprint it won't blow in the drag race but I tried that and my engine is still blowing up. Grr.

By the way, I have all the upgrades available for my engine etc so that can't be the problem ..

Any help plz?

also consider possibly not reving up all the way, try to get a perfect start.

Did u change gears, cuz i had the same problem.

a whole bunch of people have that problem, so i think that ur doing ok, but ur game might be messed up. I dunno.
