Hey guys, is it just me or is this game trying very hard to not look like an X-Com want to be, but it’s failing badly? Don't get me wrong, I have waited for such a long time for this genre to be awakened it’s almost ridiculous. So I guess if the game works it might just satisfy... We'll have to wait and see.

This game is awesome! It's almost identical to UFO:Enemy uknown(THE BEST OF THE BEST) and X-Com:Terror From the Deep. I've been waiting for this game every since X-COM:Apocalipsys, because it sucked really hard ^_^ and the rest of there series too(Coparing to the UFO:Enemy Unknown)

I have to concur with you, but I just need to know when this thing is finally coming out? I mean every time I check for a release date its something new and later. Unless it already came out and I just missed the big release... 🤔

hmm, i tryed this and it seemed extremely crappy. i really love almost all ufo games, specially the first ones and i was so waiting for this but i got mad like hell when i tryed this. how can they do this kind of crappy game after all those ufo's. no scrolling with keyboard, interputs is computer controlled and lots of stupid other things.

This game is out... in the I-net atleast

This game is AWESOME! If you like the cartoon/worms-like Aftermath, then just skip this game! I fell in love with UFO:Enemy Unknown - The building system, the Overview, the land combat(missions), researches(goes along with the building sys.) The games which came after Terror From The Deep ARE the crappy ones! If you are a shallow-player, the one who only looks at the exterior of a game, then there's no point in arguing with you.
Okey, I agree there are some failures in the game like the remodelled air-fights, but with time you get used to them and even get to like it the way it is now, so it's not such a big deal. The characters look the same...so what?? Is it so important to have an extra Gb of space taken for some facial and anotomical differences? If I haven't read about it I would even have noticed this! Okey, the Capturing system sux a$$...can't argue with that =( then there's this thing about only 1 base(main), where you can build labs/workshops/etc (maybe in the in-game future, with the tech-development it will be possible to build Labs/Workshops in other bases).
That's all from my point of view. You can agree with me or you can argue with me. The Later will be just ignored =)

DaSilver, the point of this post was not make arguments but instead to do what you are doing which is to gain input from other gamers. As far as I am concerned I usually focus on the quality of the overall game and not its cover. I like to have content, and if I find it filling then I am more than willing to overlook the graphical side of things or any other side effect. Kind of like how many people did not like UFO: Aftermath, but I actually played it through and beat the entire game and had no issues with it at all. So basically thank you for your feedback.

this is simply the "original" X-Com. same base management, same flyers, same poor shooting soldiers (i managed to hit a comerade instead of an alien in just a few round - just like old times!) they just upped the timeline some...

but if its true to the roots its going to be really really hard... we're going to cry for a trainer
