to play mercinaries you have to beat the games once and save it and it also unlocks other extras like the matilda, IRL, seperate ways/or assignment Ada(i cant remember which, but beating seperate ways unlocks chicago typewriter for leon,and after you beat it on normal you get to do it on proffesional mode and you get the PRL when you finish, getting a 5 star rank/60,000 points with each character on each level having a total of 100 stars, you will get the handcannon when you load a cleared game and same with all unlockable weapons
