Need for Speed: Carbon Message Board  

There are too many bloody "help" threads these days... so i propose 1 main thread doubling as a center for all help with any issues regarding NFS Carbon. I and many others who are able will answer your queries with honesty and respect. Anyone who intentionally disparages others on this thread will be banned. So everyone please post your queries here and not create minor threads in which require no more than 2 or 3 replies - theres no real need for them when you have this main thread.

Any queries will be greatly appreciated if shared !

i need good pointers on drifting, my best run is like a measly 140,000 in the circuit drift

oky doky..u noe me, skatebizzy, ummm...which car would u prefer, chevrolet corvette or a ford GT? i'm thinkin of purchasing one, since i've got a lot of cash

i'm having some troubles on a canyon drift, the lanes r thin and i keep bumping around

so r there any cheats?

DukiDuke, 140k isnt that crap you know, its quite gd. However drifting is NEVER cut-and-dry, and the sooner you come to terms with that, the sooner you'll become a potential DK. Theres no right way to drift - every1s unique. Speed is the essence - without speed in NFS:C there is no winning. The faster you go, the more points you score. Try out these techniques with a tuner, preferable tier2, on Kimei Temple drift track in Bushido territory.

Bizzy, personally i prefer a corvette but if you need help completing the game, the ford gt will be of more use to you than the corvette.

carbon_dioxide, there are no cheats for drifting. I suggest that you work on your timing. Dukiduke can make use of this as well. Control and Speed are the two main principles of drifting, they cannot exist independantly. You need to strike a balance between the 2. Potential DKs like me have found the balance at around 150mph. But for non-potential DKs, you should try to drift on at least 80mph. Also familiarity with the course is essential - if you dont know the course then you're never gonna FINISH, let alone win.
