Jolly good tips ! Should help all those up-and-coming players.
One question though, why set Supercharger to High RPM? Higher RPM does mean more Top Speed, but also decreases Acceleration, and so can be a double-edged sword. I think it's best left balanced.
No it can be balanced even though you set Supercharger to High RPM. If you set Transmission and Engine to Acceleration (in Engine it is called Torque) if you set to High RPM to Supercharger it will be balanced due to the tuned acceleration. Another thing is to use High RPM to Muscle cars as they are supposed to go zero to blimey in seconds and the other cars with low acceleration can be given a Lower RPM.

Need some tips? You've come to the right place...
Customising tips
Always set Nitrous on 'Velocity', unless the car goes 0 to blimey in seconds..
Always set Supercharger on a high RPM
You can move, rotate and scale Vynls using the arrow keys (use your mouse to change through the options
Racing tips + Facts
Not only does a SpeedBreaker put your car into slow-mo, it also lowers your current speed! Don't use it, unless you must
It is a good idea to use NOS at the start of the race, but make sure there are no sharp turns nearby...
Important: Not only can cops spot you in a race, and be a nuisance, but they can also ARREST YOU!!! So, do NOT stop in a race, in which you have been spotted by cops, or you are caught, and the race ends...
Sometimes, using the other crews cars to stop you from hitting into a wall is very possible, just hit them on the side (but avoid hitting them head-on in the side)
Remember the Reset Position key, it will be useful
Crew Tips
Having Neville or Samson always employed, will help your money..
Try to avoid having 2 of the same type of crew member..
Do not go through any gaps, left by the other crew cars in a race while you have a Scout, or your Scout will ram you
Police Tips
Certain police vehicles can be easily disabled when you hit them, like you would in a tailswipe, at full speed..this will send most cops flying!!
Know each Pursuit Breakers does, so you know when to use each one...
Avoid roadblocks!! Not only can they have a spike strip, but ramming into a roadblock can trap you in the disabled cops, and you will be busted...
Listen to the cop radio!! You can hear things that will help you escape..
If you are hit by a spike strip, then instead of ramming into the cops in a roadblock, run into the spike strip...It can't get worse!!
Canyon Tips (duel)
Do not just rush blindly...occasionly, you will have to break
Sometimes, passing the boss doesn't help, not only do they usually get the lead again, but they will ram you lower your points!!
Pushing them off the road is impossible...don't try it!!
On the 2nd leg, you can ram them to get points, but this is not a good idea...
Don't try to push them off when on the second leg, you'll probably be passed...
Remember, you DON'T have NOS or SpeedBreaker to help...
Hope they help

Your tip as quoted If you are hit by a spike strip, then instead of ramming into the cops in a roadblock, run into the spike strip...It can't get worse!! is in fact quite wrong with two drawbacks. A. Three wheels is better then no wheels and B. THe more wheels that have been punctured will slow you down even more and make it harder is reverse. I have learned that the hard way so take my advice, so always avoid spike strips at all costs!! Even if it means quickly reversing then doing a 180 degree turn (trust me it is more riskier than you think espicially if an army of 15 cops are chasing you.
