Despite the exotic aficionado i am i have to admit that the GT500 is possibly the best looking and the most fun muscle to drive. The viper and corvette may look good but they drive like a chest of drawers with jet engines. The Hemi 'Cuda is also REAL fun to drive but thats just uuuuggglllyyyy .

you know, iv read all the posts people have sent and am quite surprised you all need such fast cars to beat Darius. In fact i beat him in the first round in the canyon when im chasing him every time. I never have to go to stage 2 where he chases me. I beat him with the Subaru Sti, fully modified. Iv finished the game completely..... challenge, reward cards, career 3 times in the last week and have to say that iv found the best handlings cars as well as fast enough are : Brera, Clio V6, Subaru. I bought loads of different cars the first time i played it in career mode and had about 15 cars in my garage all fully modified and still found the above cars to be the best all rounders. With all the other NFS titles i always loved the Skyline, and now iv gotta say that im pretty impressed with the smaller cars. The Lambo is a great car but can at times just get a bit too much and takes the fun out of it. I wouldnt mind hearing what other cars people have beaten Darius and the other bosses for that matter with.

In case you havent noticed, the STI is fast. I mean it IS a tier3. Any car under tier3 is under my classification of: F-A-S-T

The Evo is also another car i have beaten darius with - and its one of the best cars in the game if you ask me. It can keep up with MOST muscles in a straightaway and can whip around corners and still take off like a bat out of hell thanx to its 4wd . Its defo one of my favourites, too.

You are a great person for simply saying that the brera is the best, dude . I took on Wolf in his murc canyon duel with my brera and won. BRERAS POON THE HOUSE!!

Drifting is not a wax-on/wax-off thing; every1s unique. Theres no correct way to do it except to practise. But u need 2 kno wat ur practising. Ur practising how to become used to ur cars maximum sensitivity and trying not to fishtail too much (getting the rear out). for practising, i recommend Kimei Temple drift track cos it has every sort of drift turn u need to master all-in-one. Tackle the track with a tuner firstly. Set yourself gentle targets like 10000 per lap and then 15000 etc. By the time you reach 100000 per lap, you've pretty much become "good" at drifting, though for drifting veterans like me making 100k per lap is almost an afterthought. But it only takes practise and perseverance - and lots of skill can be built up thru these 2 factors.

Make sure you have a tier3. This includes the more xtreme tuners like the Evo, imprezas and 350z. If u are a complete newbie doing Darius's turf 4 the first time, then a tier2 is absolutely useless. Switch to a tier3.
