Darkstar One Message Board  

I know I sound like a n00b, and I'm not denying I am one, but I'm really stuck in Darkstar One. In the mission where you have to scan cargo from a destroyed ship as part of getting a plasma rifle, or whatever the weapon is for the research station, I don't know how to scan cargo. Does anyone know? Thanks.

The documentation for this game is the WORST I have ever seen. I was stuck too for a while. Here's what I did to get through it. Get within .1 of the container, stop engines, insure you have the item selected (Hit "E", the go all the way to the lower left corner of the screen (inside the little window that has a picture of the object). There's an arrow sort of symbol pointing down and left from the picture - left click on it with your cursor and that should activate the scan. Hope that helps.
