someone said in another post that if you upgrede a rust sword or somthing all the way its the strongest sword in the game. can somone tell me how to do this or the topic of the other post? i tried to find the other post but cant.

Thats not true. The rusted sword needs to be upgraded with earth crystals. Then it becomes a dual blade, but it's not the strongest sword in the game.

If you upgrade rusted stone, it doesn't become duals u can upgrade ancient stone, u get eternal schism (duals) which is very strong. u can kill lao by yourself easily with this

If you upgrade a Rusted SWORD it becomes dual blades. not Rusted STONE.
