Hi all, Please excuse my ignorance but I'm curious how to get a heat level on my car during Career mode higher than 5? At first I thought 5 must have been the maximum because the scale doesnt move (bottom left of Select Car screen) once you reach 5, but then I tried some of the Challenge Series events and one of them is to evade the police for 5 minutes at HEAT LEVEL 7!!!! Thats when I noticed some different types of cop cars chasing me (Black/striped Corvette??).
Could someone please explain how (if possible) to attract that much interest from the police (Lvl-7) in career mode?
Just keep playing the game.. as you get further on your career you will begin to attract more attention but if you are still new in your career then you will not atttract alot of attention.
I see you havnt played Most Wanted or els you would know that that corvette is sergeant Cross!

My career is at 100%, but still I don't gain heat after I reach level 5. So your saying you get more than Level 5 in career? And if so, how high does it go?? Thanks again.
oh, and yes this is the first NFS title I've played.
No you cannot go above level five police persuit in ncareer mode.
Also... that white striped Covette will chase you at level five its just that you barely ever see him... (He stayes behind you and gives orders) But when he does chase you, he is the best out of all the cops.

It looks like there is another variety of corvette at the higher HEAT levels....

It seems a little funny to me that a challenge event that lasts for 5 minutes has higher HEAT levels and better (looking) pursuit cars than Career mode...... Maybe it's just me...
The same thing happens in Most Wanted exept level 6 is the black Corvettes and level 7 is only Supercharged-Heavy-SUV's
