Medieval 2: Total War Message Board  

Hi! I have a problem with cheat codes because they dont seem to work. I entered the money cheat several times, add_money "40 000" and it accepts it as if it was working, but i never see any additional amount of money coming in the game? Does the cheat code really work?

dunno never tried it i just use the trainer which is alot better then the cheat codes. i do somethimes use instance build cheat tho when i need to. maybe ur not typeing it in right or something? u should look at some of the other topics cuz i think they was one about the cheat codes and how they work and which ones do and dont.

Do you use the quotation marks around the money amount? If so then don't, just type in the number without any quotation marks.

It works...

type this exactly as I do

add_money 40000

then you push up on the directional button and the code will repeat. Do this as many times as you need.

Yeah but the cheat code processz-cq cityname still don't work properly
After some turn, the cheat will be restarted back to normal again

Woooah, I only just found the link for the Medieval 2:Total War board. I can't beleive how much time I wasted looking when I had no idea how to find it. That made no sense but anyway. This is just my opinon but I think you should complete the game 100% include long and short campagin before you use cheats otherwise it ruins the fun of the game; thinking, playing stratigiclly (hard word to spell off the top of my head)and all the other stuff now.
