I was just wondering how to get Khelgar in with the monks of tyr i cant seem to get the trial of the maimed(where he realises he wronged his clan or whatever) and whats with the clan place in act 2 theres no way to ghet in there is some machine built in the wall that is missing a part but where is the part>??????

Ok to get Khelgar in with the monks you have to complete that quest that you are stuck in, their should be a box labeled box of parts near the entrance of the dungeon, your part will be in there. You have to click on the machine twice since it will only tell you that you need the part the first time whether you have it or not.

i think u have to finnish act 2 as well to fully finnish Khelgars trial quest.

You don't need to finish Act 2 to finish Khelgar's quest. I don't remember the names of the trials now, but the last trial I finished was why he was fighting. You finish it after your character gets in court for the slaughter at Ember village. Khelgar gets really ****ed off by the false accusations in the cutscenes. After this, talk to him and he will realise his reasons. Then, go to the church and tell the priest he had finished this trial and he will become a monk. A warning: talk to Khelgar (and your other companions) periodically. You may be skipping good information or plots for quests without noticing (including Khelgar's one).

The most important thing to do during Act I is to get a high influence with Kelgar. If your influence is high enough, then talking to him especially after you get done with the drawfs you can get him to finish two of his tasks. Like was said before the third test comes right after your trial.
