The box on the chair in Nancy's room, the one with the signs on it, i have tried to open it the exact way all the cheats say, but nothing ever happens. can somebody help me please?

Ok if you think the lion is the top of it, it's wrong
The top of it is the lynx on the right of the snake thing
& leave the lynx plane without a shape & without a color

So me and my friend here have been stuck on this box for hours we looked at all the cheats and we think we got it right and everything why isnt it opening?!?!?! Please help!!!
