Medieval 2: Total War Message Board  

I found these working for some of the startup units for England at turn 1, all of these worked since it was enough since they only have 1 name, still struggling with characnters with more then 1 name:

Aston the Cardinal:
NaturalPriestSkill 1-3
GoodDenouncer 1-5
StrongFaith 1-4
Bishop
Cardinal

Cecila the Princess:
NaturalPrincess 1-3
GoodPrincess 1-4

Richard the Spy:
GoodSpy 1-5

And a new cheat called ancilaries:
give_ancillary Rufus apothecary (this gives rufus lots of hitpoints and he will spend allot of time with his wife = children)

Other ancillaries:
bard
biographer
mentor

Cant figure out the retinue Longbowmen names...

I've tryed to give trait to my diplomat but no luck at all, even on the english diplomat who is there when you start a new game. Only way i could a little boost its diplomatic skill is in descr_strat.txt file in imperial campaign by changing the GoodDiplomat 2 to higher value.

Just got a feeling you cant give traits to diplomats at all

Ah another game likely need a patch to make the cheat works properly

Why ? Is make a easily working cheats for a game is a sin ???

How does auto_win ATTACKER/DEFENDER work exactly?.

When im besiegning a settlement i then try to type in auto_win attacker, but nothing happens?.

It's for the auto sim battle mode.Btw, how in the world do you get the console to give trait to someone who has two names? Like Charles Greek would be inputed into the console how?

i need help with the create_unit thing so much so that i copied the text the other (smart) guy wrote to the letter and still couldnt figure it out,are caps the problem or do they not matter? (im trying to make those heavy infantrymen,yes im the english)
