FOR FINAL FANTASY 2 ONLY: Teach all of your people blizzard and train the blizzard move on the goblins and weak enemies and when your blizzard lvl gets to about 4 or 5 go up towards the castle of fynn but instead go left and walk into the marsh and you should find ogres and ogre mages and turtles and use blizzard on all the enemies you find up there ( DO NOT GO TOO FAR UP OR YOU WILL DIE!!!) by fighting these you will get lots of money and lots of experience and blizzard is really good against most enemies so it will help for the whole game! ( you should buy some cottages when you fight the ogres and other enemies in the marsh area so you can recover instead of walking back to town) After you get your blizzard to about lvl 7 go to fynn and fight the comanders because they drop good items so you can get good items like flame bows in the begining of the game! Plus, blizzard is usually really good against most enemies in the game so this will help later too! This makes the begining of the game really easy! Enjoy!!!

He either meant palamecia or a different type of guard patrolling fynn. But he is right, Blizzard does help and they do commonly drop flame bows.
