Well, thats just the thing - You can create WHATEVER YOU WANT. It can be a god item or not. Ya see this PLUGIN is just GREAT in general for creating items (just needs a few kinks worked out of it and it will be updated and have better functionality too if Freyas wpast work is any indication). It has built in system to name your items and you can even setup custom items prefixes in the csv file. Its a streamlined item maker- just needs some work on the Icon search and Freya has said he/she will be adding the ability to change the meshes of the armor soon, so its all good.

This is MUCH easier than the build in system. Its a PLUGIN that streamlines custom item creation. Even if you don't want to cheat you can use it WITHOUT my cheatmod files and just turn on the plugin option to see what level requirements a default item will need. Right now the toolset does not even tell you what the level requirements are when you create an item. No, this will probably become a fantastic plugin with tons more added functionality for the creation of items in general. I just hack modded it into a cheat mod but nobody says you *have* to make god items. eiher don't use the cheatmod.zip files and turn on the option to see the level requirements (to TRUE as decribed in my nfo) or just give yourself fewer bonuses. The user interface is fantastic - it does exactly what we need in general for creating new items- we just have to wait for the update to the plugin to get the armor model editing (just about everything else you can edit that is allowed is editable) and its all in a streamlined page by page GUI. Its pretty cool. I think even Darth would say its a better way to create items- much faster and easier.

You CAN get the plugin without the cheatmod- the cheatmod files are actually in a seperate zip file and my tutorial and the documentation is the same other than copying my cheatmod files over. I did it that way in case folks just wanted to use the mod without the cheats. Its cool, you should try creating some items, even if you don't use my cheatmodded files and tell me its not better than having to do them WITHOUT the plugin. Its all about added functionality to the Toolset that has several things missing- but since this place is called Cheathappens its all about cheating with MY MOD!

No dude i mean that the game is good very good but when you have everything you want fore your hero than its just story mode you wont have the taste of creating your items or loking fore some or expirence the combat diference whit every level thats what the game is about .

Its just hapening the same thing whit diablo 2 the game was cool until someon made a hero creator you can have whatever you want but in single player it sucks i mean you whill get very bored when you finish the game and probably whill never play it

Personally I just created that amulet to test out the toolset mod seeing as someone said it didn't work. However, I can't see how you can question someone using a custom item when you yourself are using god mode. What difference does it make? Either way you are circumventing the developer's intentions for how the game is to be played. I personally don't have any desire to load up on trinkets with zillions of feats etc, but if soimeone else does then I say go for it. However someone wants to play the game is their lookout.

A word of caution with overloaded items. The one I made earlier repeatedly crashed the game at a certain point. I had to revert to an earlier save without the item to fix the problem. I'm not sure what the cause of the issue was exactly.

Just finished the single player. I must say it didn't go quite how I hoped, although I had expected as much. Obsidian need to work on their endings. It wasn't as lame as the one in KOTOR II, but it could have been better.

hi all
i've just upgraded my game to ver 1.02 and the plugin works fine in NW2 ToolSet . i follow the tutor and be able to create my item . Then i start ToolSet , try to open some default modules and my item is listed here . But how to "give" that item to my character in-game , i try the DebugMode 1 and the giveitem with my newly-created-item TAG correctly but it says "can't create item..."
Anyone knows why

Yea man...Darth is right....The ending is really lame...i tink it means they sure as hell wanna make an expansion for this...probably in the astral plane or sumthing....or maybe use Bevil or Deaghun.....Still if they put in the same type of work as they did for their opening intro it would have been great.....

anyways to the guy above me check ur item is saved correctly...if not the game won't know where to look for ur item....
:EDIT:Or make sure u entered the correct name for ur item...

from my turorial:

"NOW CLICK CREATE ITEM!

Now, back in the toolset in the lower right corner choose Items and below that "Module" and if you followed my instructions you should see you shiny new amulet. But lets SAVE the module right quick:
Go to File at the top, select Save As.. then type in My Stuff. Ignore warning. Its not a mod but just a holder so you can reopen it and store all your created items into the same mod.

NOW, to get it into the game:
In the Blueprints in the toolset at the bottom choose Items-Module- then expand and highligh on "God Amulet." Right Click on it, the "Save to File" and just name it (the FILE!) godamulet. Now look in \My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\modules and find the godamulet.UTI file. Now copy that file to "My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\override"
Start game. Open up the console [~] type in DebugMode 1 then, now make sure your character is slected and type in "giveitem godamulet" and BAM!


Erm, I NEVER SAID type in the TAG, now did I? I said to type in the name of the FILE of the item you made after you have saved the specific item into a file. Where did you get "Type in the TAG" to give your self the item? You are not following the instructions.

If you save the item like was explained in the nfo then you can save the file as whatever name you want (the resulting file will be in \My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\modules folder). Its a *.UTI file. And copy the file over to the Override folder. If the file is named "sword1.UTI" then you type in "giveitem sword1" without the quotes. If you saved your item and you named your file called "Icantfollowinstructions.UTI" Then you type in "giveitem Icantfollowinstructions" Without
the quotes. Whatever the name of the FILE is what you type - I hope that makes tings a little more clear. But it seems like you did not follow my tutotial in the NFO file.

now i can make my wonderful god-like items
hey , my attack is now 53/... or something like that with a +20 attack weapon , i wonder if there is a way to increase this number to make every my attack roll a critical hit
