I've tried picking up everything in the study to give to Java all i can pick up was a pen and I cant give him that, So what is it that I give him I'm stumped. so can anyone one help me or tell me so I can get further in the game????????

You have to give Java a paperweight it is in the Office, and it's on the bookcase. It looks like a little green head, just click on it, and give to him.
