u need to use da master ball inside da team Aqua/Magma and use it one kyogre.. it pretty much da only way to catch him.. ive even tried ultra ball but they dont work.. soo. use da master ball

No, you are wrong. It is possible to catch Kyogre with an Ultra Ball...But it has to be on REALLY LOW hp. Best way to catch him is using a catching trick. Simply when the pokeball touches the ground, continuously rotate the d-pad rapidly, while holding the A and B buttons*.
If you can't get Kyogre to low hp, because all your pokemon kills Kyogre in one shot, use water attacks. Since it is unaffective, it will not kill it.
Just becuase I am an AWDS god, doesn't mean I'm not a poke god .
The pokemon you are refering to, which is impossible to catch without Master Ball, is Groundon. But he is also possible to catch with a Great Ball, but has really low chance
*Also, trying paralyzing Kyogre. It is the best for catching pokemon, because it is pernament (until a paralyze heal is used, but Kyogre doesn't have one )

Besides, Master Ball is actually supposed to be for Rayquaza. But he can be caught with a...GREAT BALL!?

Actually, master ball is for...err....no pokemon really...Master ball is a complete waste of time, I never got it and I got all lengendaries possible in Sapphire...

try using psyhic type pokemon.put him to sleep after you get his health in the red.then use an ultraball.save the masterball for rayquaza or latias/latios.good luck.
