All characters, even ones not currently in the party, share all XP earned. This prevents certain characters being too underpowered late in the game. There is no way around this via the console that I am aware of. You'd probably need to edit the save file directly.

ALOS, you guys DO know, that you can use artmoney at the creation of your character to max out you initial amount of stats and spells? Works for everything but feats. Just do an exactvalue search a couple of times, it will find it- might be two or three- just freeze them all, freeze the values, then give yourself everything you can then unfreeze SET the last item to where it "squares" up to make the last item give you "0" amount of points (so you can hit "NEXT" button and off you go.) Works for initial stats, initial spells, etc. Also during the level up process I am pretty sure you can do it as well for the amount of points. This way you can tailor your inital guy the way you want him and up thru the process. However, the massive console functions are what REALLY shine, but I always Artmoney hack my starting stats/spells as they are such an easy exactvalue search.

HEY, I remember I was able to do SOMETHING to get my custom make weapons into the single player campaign somehow with NWN 1 (but its been a LONG TIME). I used the toolset somehow, and maybe the DM, but does anybody remember? I think you have to give the items to yourself in the verybeginning of the game though... Also have to set it up to where it has no level requirements for those "Super Weapons/armor/amulates" hehe.

Oh, wiat I think what I did was create my super items/super whatever, create a VERY room, set up a mod, then gave myself everything, the EXPORTED my chracter and imported him into the single player game with all euquipement? Damn, can't remember :/ But I remember being able to start the game off with super weapons- I liked the dual "Shock" Maces that threw everyone across the screen when I wacked them, hehe.

Character stats are simple enough to change with the console IMO. I like the idea of freezing the skill points, but to be honest it's not a priority for me personally.

As far as custom items go, you need to make the item in the toolset and put the resultant UTI file in the OVERRIDE folder. Then you can add the item to your inventory via the console's giveitem command. If you try making acustom module and then importing that character into the single player campaign you lose all the items.

Cool, man, thanks and check over at my Gothic III forum thread as I just decided to host the files myself for now and a cool tweaking/savegame backup utility. Oh, and I also found this for items creation and other toolset tutotials for NWN2 to get myself back up to speed and for others:

    www.nwn2.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/ToolsetTuts/items.html

Of course I want a plugin that removes the initial base cost and requirements :P
Hopefully somebody will create one so we can make super items and equip them to whoever we want. I like to level up and get XP myself so to have an "incentive" to do more quests but still have my super items. Is there a command to FORCE equip the item- like instead of adding to you inventory it actually just EQUIPS it on you bypassing requirements? I doubt it :P as the game will just check and make you unequip the item :/ But a plugin/hack might come out allowing such things. Thats where the fun begins, hehe. NWN just rules with its plugins and mods. Years of good stuff just like the first one is what we can expect I recon.

WHAT THIS IS SEE WHOOHOO! A God Item creator plugin for the toolset that can be used to remove restrictions :P

    nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=NWN2PlugIns.Detail&id=36
    RDR Item Creation Wizard

Its a plugin for the toolset that SHOWS you the restrictions AND places 3 *.2da files in your my documents/balah override folder where you can EDIT the specific item type restrictions! Excellent Documentation is included in the Documentation folder in the zipfile. Hehe, Now we truly can make some god items with the toolset and actually SEE what restrictions (and edit them via editing the override 2da files) to whatever we want. Its a beginning. The 1.02 patch, btw is about to come out I just read also. But time to see if I can make some god items, heh.

That's what NWN1 was. Most people hated that and wanted a party system like Baldur's Gate, hence the system in NWN2.
