I'm stuck in quest #12 of the mages guild where you have to find Mucianus Alias in Nenyond Twyll, find out he has been turned into a worm and report back to Traven. My problem is that the worm never showed up.. I tried to spawn him but he's not on the list of npc's you can spawn. i've also tried to spawn Mariette Rielle (the woman who tells you they've turned him in a worm) but that didn't work either. the cheat for updating this quest also doesn't work does anyone know another way to make him appear or make me finish the quest? thnx in advance
okay firstly what do you mean "the cheat for updating this quest also doesn't work"?... no offense mean't, but i tried and tested all of those codes for the quest codes before i published these codes.
secondly how did you enter. ie: what comand line did you use?
thirdly what code did you use here is the full codes: and remember that there is only one space between MG12Gate and the number. ie: MG12Gate 10
MG12Gate 10 I need to speak with Hannibal Traven, who has a special assignment for me.
MG12Gate 20 I need to travel to Nenyond Twyll, south of the Imperial City, and make sure Mucianus Alias is safely rescued from the Necromancers there. I am to escort him back to the Arcane University.
MG12Gate 30 Fithragaer is the only survivor from the group of Battlemages sent to find Mucianus Alias. I need to help him reach the Necromancers within Nenyond Twyll.
MG12Gate 40 Fithragaer, the only surviving Battlemage, is dead. I'll need to continue on my own into the ruins to find Mucianus Alias.
MG12Gate 50 I've found Mucianus Alias. He's been transformed into some kind of walking dead; there's nothing I can do for him. I should report his fate to Hannibal Traven at the Arcane University.
MG12Gate 100 Arch-Mage Traven has been informed of Mucianus Alias' fate.
remember they do work and remember that there is only ***1*** space i've had a few people say they don't work and it turns out they were entering about 5 spaces, also ***do not*** type the journal entry, i only put that in to help you find the quest codes you need.
try this if you haven't already, enter these exactly as they are here: first enter this: player.setstage MG12Gate 50 then enter this: player.setstage MG12Gate 100
this will complete the quest if the journal entry does not come up you more have more than likely completed that part of the quest. Sorry about having a go but I know they work. if you still have problems let me know and i will ty to help.
so what you're saying is that you should also put the description of the update after MG12Gate 50? because what i've entered is just MG12Gate 50, with only 1 space (yes i've read the instructions at the top ) i'll add the description and try the code once again, and if it doesn't work i'll try the last option you gave.
The full code didn't work because i probably had a spellingmistake somewhere in it and i didn't feel like tying it all over again so i tried the "player.setstage MG12Gate 50" code and it worked thnx man! i was scared never to be able to complete the mages guild but thanks to you i can proceed cheers mate btw sorry for saying the codes didn't work if you feel offended, i just thought you'd have to enter it without the description. thnx again
and remember for anybody else ***DO NOT*** i repeat DO NOT enter the journal entry i have provided, it is there *only* to help you find the code you are looking for in other words DO NOT enter:
player.setstage MG12Gate 50 [blah blah] whatever the discription is.
only enetr: player.setstage MG12Gate 50 one space, no journal entry.
When I play Oblivion,everything goes fine and suddenly the game Freezes for a few seconds,then the game exits to windows and says Oblivion has encountered a problem and needs to close.It happens every ten minutes.I dont know what to do!Please help!
