I've read the dow.txt and the trainer does not work for me any suggestions? I'm using an unpatch version of the game.

are u starting the trainer first and then the game? and are u pressing the right bottons to use the trainer? not trying to flame u or anything but i know sometimes when a trainer is not working for me it can be something very simple i am doing wrong. and do u just have dark crusade installed or all 3? i dunno know if it matters but if u have all three u might want to try just dark crusade. and if that doesnt work then post what u are doing and maybe then we can figure it out.

I tested it with all 3, and just Dark Crusade, both work for windows XP.

I can tell you that the trainer has been used by hundreds of people and of the 2-3 people that have had trouble getting it to work, ALL of them got it working after reading this and eliminating the configuration issue causing the problem. You should hear a voice say 'option activated' if you're using the trainer correctly (regardless of whether or not the option works, you should still hear the voice). If you're not hearing the voice then you have something interfering with the use of the F1-F6 keys in Windows (or you're not using the trainer correctly) -- like keyboard drivers, etc. Check out the guide and then report back. I can tell you that the trainer works fine, there's only one version of the game currently, so patches or *fixes* are not an issue.

I made sure to run the trainer first and then launch the game. I'm not hearing the voice when pressing the "f" key (ie. f1, f2 etc..). I'll check some more to see if it could be anything on my side currently i only have dark crusades installed.

I don't know about other peopls' keyboards but mine has an F lock key all the way on the right right above Num lock. Try pressing that and then use the "f" keys.

Thanks for all the reply's after copying it to the game directory it started working for me.

copying it to the game directory would have nothing to get it to work, the trainer can be run from anywhere as it looks for the game class , until the game is running the trainer isnt active and where the trainer is whether it be on your desktop or from inside an rar file it has no bearing on it at all.

you must have done something else without knowing it.
