I was reading the new issue of OXM when one of the letters brought up the idea of maybe the Spartan

1. It looks beat up. Bungie said it looked beat up and Bungie > you.

2. Have you ever dug anywhere in Africa? And I expect it requires something specail to set it off. If you read the novels you should have an idea of what I mean.

Hey, I have 13/20 vision, the armor didn't look beat up at all.

And by novels, if you mean the three Halo books:

The Fall of Reach,
The Flood,
First Strike

then yes I did read them but I still don't understand what you mean.

I guess I'm not just seeing it the way you do then.

Anyway, when Cortana said, "I know you, you past, your future." Even if it was another Spartan, she could have known his/her's past if you read the books you will understand. But how would she know his/her's future? That's just creepy.

well if you listen thats not even really cortanas voice it almost sounds like another AI's even though MC was the only Spartan givin another AI

It is MC. The reason he holds a Assult rifle is that bungie put it back in Halo 3. And the reason he didint speak is easy: HE DIDINT HAVE ANYBODY TO SPEAK TO! And the reason cortana was so.. weird is that she still in the cluthces of gravemind so she isint really normal. So hard was that.
