well, there is a chance of any game cheating device to mess up your game. the only one i know of is that it glytches your game, but as long as you dont save your game with the cheat on, you should be fine

if they're like me, then they aren't afraid of their games messing up until it actually happens. it's happened to me on my Emerald Version, but i was the stupid one who saved the game after the glytch happened. i think if you don't save the game if a glytch or something happens, it won't save, and you should be fine, but i'm not sure

a glytch is something that is wrong with the game. for me, the glytches are that i can ride my bike inside buildings, surf on land, acts like i dove when i'm on the surface of water after i've run into a wild pokemon or trainer, and one time my head was separate from my body (lol). the only thing is though, now when the dive thing happens, i can't get out of the water unless i have fly, so it's very inconvenient
