    wow i havnt played pokemon 4ever!!!!
    umm but i remember this....you have to trade him by the link cord thing then get him back and he will evolve, a couple of other pokemon are like this too i think its kadabra to alekazam and gravler to golem

    Also, some pokemon need to hold special items when traded through a link cord aswell. But not Machoke.

    To make machoke evolve you need to trade it to a friend and then it will evolve into a machamp.

    for example syther goes 2 scizor except it must hold metal coat wen traded.
