its going to take you hours, no matter what the more battles you have the more pokemon that are sighted so you can look up their location in the pokedex. you're gonna have to trade a lot. annnd thats about all i got lol oh yea, gonna cost you heaps in pokeballs, so have plenty of cash.
also it pays to have a pokemon with moves that make it easier to catch pokemon, like hypnosis & sleep powder or something that paralizes, or prevents escape like magnet pull, arena trap and mean look.
I just use a gameshark, I rather not be spending hundreds of hours of my life to just catch every pokemon. Just use the code infinite master balls, if you like to catch pokemon so much.

there sold anywhere at any gamestore for 25 to 30. But I suggest you get an AR(Action Reply), it works better.
