Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Message Board  

When I hit ~ nothing happens... does anybody know how to fix it?

with oblivion there are a few reasons this might happen. First, if you are using windows MCE, unplug the dongle for the remote, as it interfere's with the game's programming. second, if your computer is connected to an HP brand printer, unplug it while the game is in use or it periodically screws with the code as well. there are likely quite a few others, so i suggest Patch to the latest version, update your HW drivers, and google for other possible reasons.
