Ok I just got Cid and the tiny bronco. Cid is telling me to find land and ask about the temple of the ancients? So what town am I supposed to be heading too? I have no idea where I should be going right now to find the temple.

Head to the Golden Saucer, then in to the battle arena. In a room on the right of the battle arena reception/ waiting area is Dio's show room, in the centre (center) of the room is the Key of the Ancients, once you examine it Dio will walk in and tell you that he will give it to you if you fight in the battle arena (you only have to fight one round but if you beat all seven rounds you will get a chocobo amulet).

then after you get the key from Dio, the island with the temple is in the Southern most part of the map....
they say you shouldn't kick someone when they're down... but what do you do when they're down and swiping you at the ankles?

Or more specifically, on one of the islands south of Fort condor, the temple will be in the middle of a forest and you can see it from the beach in the TB (it'll look like a temple).
