Um...I have not bought KH2 yet..should I? Is it as good as the 1st one? Just out of curiosity, does it have Riku in it? Is he a boss, or is a friend?

if you liked kingdom hearts 1 you will love kingdom hearts 2, it is twice as good in my opinion. i havnt gotten far in because i only rented it but it is a great game!

Yes I can tell you about it. The story line is simple(to me) The game takes place a year after Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories so to know the base of the story you have to play that KH CoM 1st, got it(or read the manga when it comes out). Well you start out as a dude named Roxas, then you play 6/7 game days, and you learn about Reaction Commands. Then you start has Sora after you play as Roxas.Dada dada dada bang, you get to Master Yen Sin(from Fantasia, 1940)and he fills you in on a group called Organization XIII(they 1st so up in KH CoM) He sends you to get new clothes cause your to big for the ones you had in KH and KH CoM. Here you get your Valor Form (you have 4 main forms in the game; Valor, Wisdom, Master, and Final. Plus the Anti Form and the Loin Form. You can only use the loin form in the Pride Lands) After that you go to Hollow Bastion. There you met up with gang and you met the Organization XIII. When your done all that you go about the worlds. And thats the begining of the game.
Oh, and yes Riku is in it. And yes he is on your side. And your going to have to find out yourself about the link betewn Sora and Roxas, Kay. Hehe

Make sure that you read over Riku's side story for Chain of Memories as well. It will help you out slightly for some of the events in Kingdom Hearts II as well.
Just skimming over both stories should be enough, you don't really have to delve deep into the conversations from the different worlds that they visit.
