Pokemon Ruby Message Board  

I am sure that most players of the Pokemon series have heard of or have a shiny in their game. I want to know what pokemon it was and what was special about it! I only have Ruby so I cant comment on any others and the only shiny I have is a green marill which is now evolved into an orange azumarill! I am not lying I caught it just west of the daycare near Mauville when there are two patches of water. Go to the bottom one and surf. this is what i did a green marill appeared. If there are any others in Ruby (or in any others for that matter), I'd like to know!

They're just random. And the only special thing is that they are different colors. You have a 1/8000 (it's higher than 8000 but I don't remember the exact number) chance no matter where you are. No spot is better than another.

ok well have you got a special coloured pokemon?

i have a green tetacrul and a pink latias and a blue grouldon and a purple requrza and a yellow chazard and a brown lugia i have alot of rare pokiemon i cant name all of them rite now chloe

awesome well i know a trick in crystal to get the girl red and the guy blue.. but it will destroy the game you are playing and missingo appear everywhere you go!

You're either lying or you cheated, because you can only get shineys in the wild, and those don't appear in the wild without cheats.

Yea cuz there is no brown lugia!
or a green tentacruel!
I Have cheats for shineys and Lugias stomach is brown
And the tentacruel is like gray or dark blue.

it is true i got a oringe groudon but im coler blind so i do not no
