hi, have had this game for a while and play it evey now and again. am stuck on the northern arena level 5 the artus dominus level where its you versus the bird. you need to kill more people than her and get over 20000 salvo points. have tried this so many times but still no joy, either just about kill more than her, 1 more, but never enough salvo points, or the few times i have amazingly managed to get over 200000 salvo points shes always killed more than me.

I can't really tell you more than what is already in my guide, but you need to do a bunch of Salvo moves and appeal to the crowd often. You need that Magnus Sword that the crowd will throw to you after you have performed enough Salvo moves. Always do charged attacks with a Magnus Sword, Scimitar, or a Roma Sai for the best results in that battle.

Take advantage of the mashers found around the area and hit one of the four drums along the side to kill any gladiator that is underneath one - this is your main way to rack up kills. I like to wait until the female gladiator is engaged in a battle underneath a masher and set it off while she fights so it will knock her down and kill the gladiator that she is fighting. Make sure to kill the gladiators quickly and do not waste time or she will steal your kill. She loves to steal kills right after you knock another gladiator down. Try to steal some kills from her as well.

One of the best things to remember about ALL of the arenas is to try to wound your opponents by breaking or chopping off their arms (use charged attacks), that will take you a long way in Shadow of Rome.
